Akothee: I haven’t used makeup for one year but I still spend Kes 84,000 a month on beauty

Akothee’s monthly expenditure on beauty is more than the average salary of ordinary Kenyan. The sum would even be more if she was doing makeup.

The mother of five has shared a breakdown of her monthly spending on beauty, she spends at least Kes 84,000 a month to look beautiful.

The breakdown

1 year of no make up, I don’t miss lipstick nor foundation , I only need facial every week , @6500 so for 4 weeks = 24,000 , nails 2 times a month 16,000
Lashes 3 times a month 20,000
Hair 4000 , I do it 3 times a month 12,000
Pedicure manicure 3000 I do it 4
times a month =12,000
This are calculations I have never sat down to do the math
