Sad but funny! American rapper Designer robbed of his sneakers while performing in Nairobi

About three weeks ago, it was Diamond Platnumz who was making headlines after he was mugged of his pure diamond chains worth Tshs40 million (Kes 1.8 million) while mingling with a crowd ahead of Wasafi Festival in Mtwara.

Apparently there are also notorious kleptomaniacs in Kenya. American rapper Designer learnt the hard way after he was robbed while performing in Nairobi.

Jameson party

Designer jetted into the country to perform at the Jameson party on Saturday December 8th. The American rapper was mobbed by fans while performing and some of them had ulterior motives.

Designer fought off a thief who was plucking his wristwatch. But as he was saving his watch, another thief grabbed his legs and removed his sneakers.

“My sneakers! My sneakers!” Designer is heard shouting after being mugged on stage.
